Alright.
Me and some people over at diskusjon.no (Norways biggest forum) decided that we sould try to make a game. Yes, I know, I know, there's a lot of work that needs to be done when making a game. We now have about 7 people that's going to work with it, one leader, two designers, at least one programmer, a person that's going to help us with photograpsh for inspiration, and at last, me, which is the leader of the modeling and weapon designs. I will be making most of the models, unless we are able to get more people to help us. We're doing it all for free, and if you know anyone that could help us, just tell me. We need more people.

The game is going to be a mod of the Fallout 3 game engine, and the game is set to norway a couple of years in the future. Here's the plot:

Norway isolate themselves from the rest of the world, and the only contact they have with the world is when they buy food and supplies. The reason for isolation is due to fear of a virus that had spread in North Africa. World Leaders had for half a year discussed to isolate Africa from the rest of the outside world. But they were to late, and the virus begun to spread slowly to Asia and up toward the coast of Italy. People supposed that there were refugees who had been shipped from Africa with boats that had gone with an early stage of the virus. Europe was soon paralyzed by terror since the virus spreading as quickly as it did, and countries in the north began to isolate themselves from the world. America closed all of the aircraft and boat routes and they also isolated themselves. As the months went, large parts of Asia and Europe were infected by the virus. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and the United States was the only countries that managed to isolate themselves from the rest of the world before the infection reached them. They traded with eachother while they fought the braindead horde of zombies on the borders. And since that animals also could be infected with the virus, there was still the possibility that it could spread to Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

none knew how the virus had occurred, nor what could have triggered it. The virus seemed incurable, and was both water and airborne. All humans and animals in contact with the virus would show strong aggresitivitet and decreased brain activity. The virus seemed to be slowly affecting the infected, and people that had an early stage of the virus seemed just normal.
The year is 2021, it is 10 years since the virus spreading and Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and the United States is uninfected. Many animals have been shot and killed and Zombie horde at the border has resigned inwards towards Asia again. All pending the worst. But one day there arrives a ship to Oslo with supplies. All humans and animals are tested and checked for the virus. But no one seems infected. 10 days after the boat arrived, there has been reported of several strange incidents. Increased aggresitivity among many people has been a major problem, and the Norwegian government suspects the worst. The government decides to gather all in Oslo to a check. But something did not go as expected. In the middle of the crowd, a fight starts. The police is able to stop them, and the people in the battle are checked for viruses, and five of them test positive. This creates panic among the people and one of the infected attack a police officer and he bite him bad.
This was the basis for a "zombie" revolution in Norway. And because the virus is airborne, most of the people in the giant crowd is infected. Norway erupt in panic and some escape to Sweden and Denmark. Others seek to go to the United States, but all get rejected.
Oslo will soon be populated with only Zombies and the thirst for meat increases for zombies. Hordes of zombies moves from Oslo and is slowly progressing into the country.
Norway's leading doctors and scientists try to find a cure. At last they are able to find a temporary cure. But the cure appears to only prevent being infected through air, water and such. But direct contact with an infected body will give you the virus. Norway's health system therefore sends out a warning, that say that you should not have any open wounds but to protect yourself as best as possible. If you were to have an open wound and getting direct contact with an infected and the wound, you would most likely be infected.
You and two Mates and your dog will be left to try to search the answer, try to find a cure for this virus. Several others in the nearby area choose to stay and fight, and tey settle down in different places, while others spread around the forests.

Hi!

The school organized a trip to NTNU, the norwegian technologic and scientific university, for the students that have the same classes I have (technology, physics, math and chemistry). To make it short, we were there in three days. The first day we sat in a bus for 10 hours, driving to Trondheim where NTNU is located.

The next day we went to NTNU, and got some "fun facts".
-There is 20 000 students.
-They have a budget of 2,8 billion a year.
-That's all I remember.

We then split into two groups, 15 on each. Our group went to see a nano-lab. We dressed up in air-thight dresses and stepped into an airlock, and into the labaratory. We listened to a lady talking about a microscope they had, which could see atoms! It costed 2 millions, but was only 40 cm tall XD. She also explained about nano-tchnology.

After we had got out of our suits, we went up to see some virtual reality stuff. First we saw a 3D-movie, wich wasnt too great... But hen it was finished, we tried some really neat stuff! It was a pen that was connected by some arms to a machine, and you could move the pen in all directions. There was motors in the joints to provide resistance. Over this contraption there was a mirror with a 3D-image projected onto it by a CRT-screen. We were wearing special glasses, and what you saw on the mirror was a hand and what you were holding was a needle. Then when you poked the needle into the hand, you could feel the resistance of the flesh, and the needle stopped when it hit bones, and it just felt REALLY awkward!

Damn this journal is getting long. I'll try making the rest short.
When we had taken  a look at the virtual reality, we visited the hospital that was a part of NTNU. We were taken into a room with a lot of shelves, and on these shelves were human and animal parts in liquid :O
There were brains, hearts, human heads, rats, rabbits, and even an entire human chopped into nice 2-cm parts, each part in its own container. Oh yes, and a gigantic 80*60*40 cm whale heart!

Later that night we went to a rotating restaurant that was placed on the top of a big tower BD It was fun! I think it rotated two times around its own axis on a hour. I ate fire-hot pizza with jalapeños and dipped in habanero (I love spicy food).

The next day was departure time, and most of the 10 hour trip went by playing cards on a table made of a blanket between two seats XD
So yeah, that's wht I have to tell you. I have some pictures from the trip too :)

K.

So I have just been to denmark in two weeks with my family, and it generally sucked. We stayed at my grandpas place, so we did not have to live in a hotel. Anyways, there did come something good out of the trip though, I bought meself a new keyboard, www.pclaunches.com/entry_image… since the one I had before, sucked. Oh yes, and I also got the games Beyong good and evil, and Mass Effect :)
So now I've got 6 games that I haven't finished... <_<

Aaaanyways. I am busy with 3D modeling, and I'm currently working on a new animation where I will use Realflow to simulate water... The simulation has now rendered ca. 12 hours, and I think it will be rendering at least 20 hours more. So yeah, it's a waiting game. And ofcourse, when that's done, I have to do the final render in Cinema 4D, and that will take at least just as long time... *sigh*

Oh yes, and school begins again next monday :fear:
I am going to get the classes physics, chemistry, mathematics and technology  I'm actually kind of excited :D I think it will be fun, because this is things I'm interested in...

Oh my god, it's been an age since I updated this journal o_o

I don't really now what to write, but I couldn't stand watching the old one any more.
I have been very busy with 3D lately, so there's not much drawing going on. But I have been IP banned from my 3D forum, so maybe I'll make for time for the good ol' wacom :)

Also, I am uploading my 3D works to my other account, :icon3dapple:, so be sure to check it out ;)

In other news: I have bought me some new speakers to my computer! I have never had any, and I had to use my headset all the time, which could get annoying :/ But now I have awesome sound from my computer, and it feels great! they costed about 120 dollars, and these are the ones: www.ebyte.gr/images/uploads/CR…

I had a LAN party a couple of days ago, with three of my friends, it was cool :) We gamed Counter strike source and team fortress 2 mostly, and I made some stuff in 3D, including that 3D kite army and some other stuff. And if you for some reason don't know what a LAN party is, it's when a number of people that is interested in computers or gaming come together for some days and play games, share files, and just have fun and socialise with eachother. And you only sleep when you really have too 8D I slept 7 hours on the three days my LAN party lasted.

So yeah, it was fun. Also, if you are not a part of our army yet, feel free to join! chat.deviantart.com/chat/KiteA…
